Shardiya Navratri is starting from Thursday, October 7, which will end on Friday, October 15.

According to the Hindu calendar, this year Mahanavami Tithi is falling on 14 October (Thursday). There is a law to worship Maa Siddhidatri on the day of Navami.


Spiritual significance of Navratri

According to mythology, Goddess Durga fought for nine days against the demon king Mahishasura. That is why this festival lasts for nine days. This is the last day for the power of the Goddess and the victory over evil. Which is called Mahanavami.
