Despite the best efforts of the medical team, her health deteriorated as her organs failed. She passed away peacefully at Life Wilgers Hospital in Pretoria on 19 August 2023 at 17:24. She was surrounded by loved ones, including her girlfriend Jolandri Van Der Walt, her mother Peach van Pletzen and close friends and family.
